DIARY FOR DADDY: drawing - Day 4

OK, so I'm stumped about those jellyfish looking drawings... but we had another drawing session tonight and WOW. She understands that drawings are symbols of things in real life! She was dictating to me about them "look what I made!". All of the words are hers:

(Sar - this was without any prompting. She even got up, got your photo from the fridge and copied it. She said "eyes" for the little backwards c inside the bigger circle and "hair" for the big line sticking up the top.)

DIARY FOR DADDY: Playseum - Day 3

Ok, early childhood experts, what do these drawings of circles and sticks mean? She does these jellyfish looking guys all of the time.

I played with Auntie Lisa (especially all of her bottles of make-up) while Momma went to a cafe to write report cards. I had a long nap while Auntie did yoga. I had a "pop-a-sicle" on the steps and said "My waiting for dadda!" This afternoon we went to the COOLEST place ever. The Children's Playseum... the photos speak for themselves.

Ains told us that this was a picture of a firetruck and a fire. A cold fire.

Of course, always washing hands. OCD?

To the Park with Auntie Lisa and Jake while Mommy went to 'yOgadance'.

C'mon, hon, I know you miss this slobbery goon.

Free peaches at the Market! Delicious. Double Fisting!

Time for water play! It's HOT.

I made my own salad just like Auntie Lisa.

We miss you, daddy!
