How great is it that we have this FREE resource so close to home?

This zoo is so large and spread out (and mamma so preggo) that we made a plan of action - first stop: PANDAS!
passed by the ELEPHANTS in their newly renovated home:
next stop: PRIMATES (momma's favorite)
This Orangutan put on a show for us, swinging right over our heads!

The Sea Lions were closed for renovation - so we checked out the reptile house:

Oh man, I so love the zoo, and haven't been to one in several years! That baboon was awesome! Loved the turtles too! Anything with water is so soothing and calming to me. Am wondering how they go about renovating sea lions though? Bet they were were fine looking just the way they were:) (Just teasing, it was the way you phrased it:)
