Surf's Up, baby - I Spent a week at the OCEAN!
It was a long....
LOOOOONG.... ride....
in a CRAMMED car (for 12 hours!)
But it was all worth it....Here's me and my mom digging for clams to eat for dinner!
This is in the cove where Blackbeard himself (yes, the pirate!) used to anchor his ship.
And EAT we did! (mom went a bit nuts - good seafood is her favorite in the whole world)
The water was warm.... a nice 75 degrees!
Mom and Dad brought my pool to the beach and filled it with salt water, so I could play in the shade without all of those scary waves.
Another catch! Hand-caught DINNER!
This is the life!

Jake was in puppy-heaven with his buddies Hunter, Maisie and Tug.
Jake is a water-dog! 
Next time, we want to come. :) I'll pass on the live catch, but I can't pass on 75 degree water. LOVE YOU!
