Report Card Time

 

Highlights from my report card from daycare:

• Loves to share news and stories with her teachers when she comes to school.
• Sometimes hits - when confronted by a teacher about it, she will then apologize to that friend and hug them.
• When she hurts a friend, Ains will often tell her teacher she has done so, and then make amends with that friend.
• If a friend is crying, Ainsley will bring the friend a toy in order to soothe them.
• Tells her teachers whens she sees a friend is sad or upset - she identifies the emotions and then tells the teacher in order for them to address it.
• She especially loves to visit the infant room and help with the babies.
• She greets all of her friends by name when she comes to school.  She will exclaim "Hi William!" when she sees he is at school.
• She likes to put on her own shoes and jacket to go outside.
• She will pour herself a cup of water from the Brita in the refrigerator.
• Enjoys running, jumping and climbing, and will decline assistance when doing so.
• She will look at the alphabet board and ask teachers to help her write letters. She can mimic some letters.
• If she begins a project, she will usually sit down and work on it until is is completed, despite any distractions.
• If Ainsley hurts a friend she will look to see if a teacher is looking.
• She tells her teachers and classmates to be quiet because the dolls are sleeping.
• She likes pretending to call Mommy and Daddy on the phone.
• She loves using any kind of writing utensil.  She will carry it around with a clipboard and write down 'notes'.
