Ladies Night Out.
French Restaurant, fancy pre-dinner cocktail, copious amounts of red wine, fresh seafood, fantastic conversation ~ HEAVEN.
A walk to the historic carousel on The National Mall ~ one of Ainsley's favorite places these days.
The day after Aileen left - it snowed. Yes. Snowed. In late March. After the flowers came. After our 70 degree day of spring-tease. SNOW.
The annual kite festival was cancelled due to the snow.
So glad you had a wonderful visit! Looks like so much fun, and baby Ainsley you can eat cookies for me, cause these days I have no room ANYWHERE! lol

ReplyDeleteAileen looks wonderful! What a fabulous surprise for you:) Ains is going to totally know how to bake cookies by herself at a very early age, she's already had so much previous experience. She will be an old pro:)! Ooh snow! I awoke this morning, pulled up the blinds and was shocked by huge white flakes falling and covering the upstairs deck. Pretty, but completely weird for April. It stopped as suddenly as it began and was gone within a half hour. Love and hugs to all! (including Baby Stella, and big girl Julia:)
