Hello BEACH

Arrival: I mean seriously, look at those houses in the background!

Oh, glorious sun! Sparkling waves! Soothing sand! Island magic.

A special trip for mommy and ains - hangin' with our dear friend Joelle at the BEST beach on the planet: Ocracoke Island.  Nearly 400 miles (each way!) in the car - nothin' but girl time.

Lovin the locals - Can I get a kitty of my own??

'Off beach' time was fun too.  A trip to the local schoolyard.  A fancy girly dinner after Ains went to bed. Some football playing and tractor-adoration while waiting for the ferry trip off the island on the way home.

We must have seen about 100 dolphins swim by... unless they were swimming in a circle!
