- waiting for the local Capitol Hill Parade -
We watched a very toddler-appropriate 20 minute local parade just around the corner from our house. Lots of school kids, dogs, firetrucks and a band. Ains had a cough so we switched gears and had a low-key day. She watched last year's (grin) fireworks on the computer with all of the lights in the house turned off before going to bed at normal time. We watched the DC Works on TV later.
Brilliant of you to have her watch last year's fireworks. I wouldn't have thought of it!
