So much has happened these past 2 months... I'm throwing everything up on the same post to 'catch up' before Christmas.
Ains - The Chatterbox
Here we are with the 2 Sisters ~ I am a HUGE HUGE fan. Yes, they are from "Seattle".
What's time away from home without a little fun?
Love the Hyatt statues...
and home we go....
Afternoon to the Carousel and Smithsonian Castle
Hello, Hitchcock...
The O Street Mansion
(with 32 secret doors! - we only found 5!)
you can actually rent rooms here to stay for the night too!
a secret door behind a bookshelf!
Oh, You Better Watch Out!...
Our Music-Driven Girl... (at a baby shower)
Capitol Tree Lighting... under 20 degrees w/ wind
(note: TOO cold!)
Mess!
The Mini Nut!
Ains was transfixed - she can now tell you the entire story of The Nutcracker in FULL DETAIL. The highlight was, I think, when the music paused - and Ainsley shouted from the audience "Someday, I will do that!"
Gingerbread House!
Classic Moment:
A: "Mommy, Daddy's not here. Can you talk about cats?"
Me: "Yes, I can."
A: "Why?"
Oh I could listen to that girl sing ALL. DAY. LONG.
ReplyDeleteI so wish I could kiss her Christmas cheeks.
(Those picturs of you with the statues are hilarious. And so... well... Tiffany.) Hee hee.
Sending love love love your way this Christmas!
I love how Ains is so used to asking "why" that she still asks it, even when she's running the show!
ReplyDeleteA: "Auntie Sawah, I need a snack."
S: "Okay, Ains. Let's have a snack."
A: "Why?"
A: "Autnie Sawah, I wanna go to the pawk."
S: "Okay. Let's go to the park!"
A: "Why?"
Hee hee!
The nutcracker looked awesome, I especially loved the costumes the little girls were wearing, BUT, my favorite dancer was the little angle cutie in the video below that one! The gingerbread house came out great! How much went in the tummy?? Loved seeing the dolly in tow almost everywhere:)
ReplyDeleteAinsley could sing to me and tell me stories and DANCE for me anytime! You going too put her into dance?
ReplyDeleteThe Mini Nut looked really exciting and I think your highlight would have been mine.
I also agree with Sarah, the statue pics are so, YOU! Makes me miss you even more!
I am in absolute awe! You are standing right next to Gail (or is it Joan?)!! Insanely jealous! (By the way, your haircut is really cute!:)
ReplyDeleteYour Ainsley is much too cute for words!!! In Disneyland I met a set of five-year-old twins, Rowan & Ainsley!!! Rowan was very taken with Samie, his sister Ainsley however was dancing all around the line waiting to meet Tinkerbell! Loved the pics of you and the statues, good to know I'm not the only crazy in the family!!!
