We read an Easter book in the morning, then Ains went on her very first Egg Hunt around the house (with the 3 eggs we salvaged from the painting experience~ see video below). A big thanks to Dasha for the cute barrettes and skirt, to Nana for the books, and to the Toomeys for the clothes and candy. (Momma, especially, thanks you for the chocolate as most of it ended up in her belly.)
We spent the afternoon with wonderful friends that we don't spend enough time with. Last time we lived in DC, their kids were about Ainsley's age! Now they are 'big kids'. We enjoyed a delicious lamb dinner (Ainsley loved the lamb!) and lots of playtime outside.
