So - I'm curious to know what chores kids are doing these days?
What chores do your kids do?
Ainsley has two jobs every day we get home from school:
1. set the table
2. feed the dog
Of course, you never know quite HOW the table will be set...
Or what type of 'glass' you'll have your water in. (She often fills the water cups too, since she can do it independently from our fridge "tap" container.)
Feeding Jake is one of her favorites.
She gets mad if one of us does it instead.
Sometimes she adds a chore for herself ---
serving water to the neighborhood cats.
Perfect chores for a three year old. Love the uniques touch Ains adds to her table setting! You must look forward to seeing the surprise setting each night. Melts my heart and makes me giggle!
ReplyDeleteOh, those are great chores for her! My kids have to sort laundry, make beds, tidy rooms, wipe down bathrooms, etc- but they are so much older than Ains.
ReplyDeleteWould she like to sweep? Maybe with a kid size sweep? Mine always like that when they were little. And sorting laundry is a good one. It takes them a long time at that age and keeps them busy and out of your hair. :)
Tell Ains that GP-bear is very proud of the nice table settings she does. And taking on the extra responsibility of making sure the neighbors cats have water is very good.
