So - That modern dance I took Ains to see? The site-specific work in chinatown? It inspired our mini urban dancer. Forgive me - I took LOTS of photos and love so many of them! My dancerly eye just had to see them all up on this post. A few samples, first, to view the source of her own impressions....

| ABear went right up to these dancers, fearlessly, after the performance - to tell them what she got out of the piece. "You were feeling sad. and you were doing a tired dance." She got affirmation from the artists that they were indeed portraying these emotions. Little dance critic in the making. ?? |

Oh my gosh! Me too! Can't believe she is already critiquing dance moves, incredible for a 3 year old! I was just thinking how perfect it is that you had a girl, a girl who loves dance as much as her mommy!:) What a beautiful. twirling jewel of wonder she is! (Also, that skirt looks adorable on her! :)
